Stack by Giffgaff


For the 2018 D&AD New Blood Awards, UK telco company, Giffgaff’s brief was for students to create a digital brand experience that truly encapsulated the giffgaff spirit of ‘mutual giving’. The concept needed to reward existing members, and show those not yet in the know just what they’re missing.

Our entry was Stack, a twist on the phone stacking game, but bigger. It’s an app that helps individuals and groups of individuals to intervene against unhealthy phone habits in social situations by turning the time spent away from their devices into donations for charities they care about. Allowing people to actually enjoy their time with loved ones — turning moments together into moments that matter.
